Altar Servers - Minister to the celebrants for all parish liturgies. Must have received the sacrament of First Eucharist. Training is done as needed. Contact David Treaster (436-2968)
CCD Program - Religious education is provided for all children from preschool through high school. Includes summer vacation bible school and “Celebration Sunday” on the third Sunday of each month. Classes are held after the 9:30 Mass from 10:30 to 11:45, September through May. Contact Karen Thome
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion - Assist at Mass and take communion to the sick and shut-ins. Diocesan training and commissioning required. Contact Dave Treaster (436-2968)
Knights of Columbus - The Knights of Columbus was founded in 1882 by a 29-year old parish priest, Father Michael J. McGivney, in the basement of St. Mary's Church in New Haven, Connecticut to provide for the widows and orphans of the parish. Today, the Knights of Columbus has become the largest lay organization in the Catholic Church with more then 1.6 million members world-wide. St. Jude Knights of Columbus welcome men who are practical Catholics in communion with the pope. Please consider membership in the Knights of Columbus and make a difference in your Church and community. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm. Contact Grand Knight, Bill Tonge
Landings - Landings is a Paulist program for returning Catholics. It is an evangelization process that helps welcome inactive Catholics wanting to take another look at the Church. It is also a delightful, strengthening experience of faith for active Catholics willing to help. Contact the parish office (436-6722)
Lector and Cantor - Proclaim the Word of God during liturgies. All confirmed parishioners welcome. Training will be provided. Contact Dave Treaster (436-2968)
Liturgical Planning - Ensures that all aspects of our liturgies are well coordinated. Contact Father Bateman (242-2781)
Music - Music is an essential part of our worship. The congregation prays through song. Contact Kathy Nash (436-5021)
Parish Council - Composed of twelve members who assist Father in debating and making decisions that affect the well being of the congregation. Six members are elected by the congregation and six members are appointed by Father. Meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month five times a year. RCIA - The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is for people who feel the desire to know more about the Catholic Church and to become members. Contact Fr. Thoms or Sister Felice.
Religious Articles - There is a display case of religious articles for sale in the rear of the church. If you would like to help with this project or wish to purchase or special order something, contact the parish office
Sacristans - Are responsible for keeping the altar linens washed and ironed. Contact Dave Treaster (436-2968)
Ushers/Greeters - Ushers assist in seating for mass and also pass the collection basket. Greeters welcome every one to worship and distribute the bulletins. Contact Shane Armstrong (527-4869).
Women's Guild - The women's guild welcomes all women of the St. Jude Parish. Some of this groups activities include the Helping Hand fund for needed families, basket auctions, and preparing for the annual Christmas Party, parish picnic and funerals. Young Adult Group – For ages 18-35, meets the 4th Sunday of the month at 6:00pm in the parish house. Contact Shane Armstrong (527-4869)
Youth Choir — is open to all interested young people and teenagers who enjoy singing. We add our voices to the celebration of Easter, Christmas, First Communion and other church events including ecumenical services. Contact Kathy Nash (436-5021)
Youth Group - The Youth group is open to all young people ages 16 to 21 who have received the sacrament of confirmation. They meet the first Sunday morning of each month following the 9:15 Mass. Contact Ralph Perez.
